Coalition Models between Health Sciences and Technology and Social Sciences and Humanities Disciplines for Creating Innovation for National Development

Abstract
The research “Coalition Models between Health Sciences and Technology and Social Sciences and Humanities Disciplines for Creating Innovation for National Development” aimed to: 1) study the current situations, 2) analyze the success factors, and 3) to develop coalition models between Health Sciences and Technology and Social Sciences and Humanities disciplines for creating innovation for national development. The sample was composed of 9interviewees, 138 questionnaire respondents, and 10 experts. The data was analyzed by basic statistics. The research results found that: 1) the current state emphasized on the interdisciplinary integration of the knowledge-based curriculum, body of knowledge, concepts of creating innovation, fine arts and sciences, fine arts and innovation, creative thinking process, blended courses, and interdisciplinary courses; 2) the success factors were consisted of (1) the application of research and academic services to develop teaching and learning, (2) emphasis on student outcomes, (3) teamwork, and (4) the integration of theory and body of knowledge, and concepts of creating innovation; and 3) the development of coalition models was composed of principles and rationales, which emphasized on academic collaboration, consisted of (1) management and budget, (2) faculty members, (3) sciences and learning contents, (4) learning activities, and (5) measurement and evaluation.
