The Guidelines on Teacher Professional Experience Training for the Students in Faculty of Education, Dhonburi Rajabhat University by Utilizing the Professional Learning Community

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the guidelines on teacher professional experience training for the students in Faculty of Education, Dhonburi Rajabhat University by utilizing the Professional Learning Community (PLC), 2) to develop the PLC, and 3) to assess the satisfaction of the users of the PLC. The research was conducted in 3 stages: stage 1 was the focus group discussion to develop the guidelines on teacher professional experience training by utilizing the PLC, stage 2 was the determination of the suitability of the components in the PLC, and stage 3 was the development of the PLC. The research tools were the activities organized in the PLC. The research samples were 60 students from a major in Faculty of Education who enrolled in the teacher professional experience training (Course: “Internship 2”) during the semester 2/2560. Among these students, 8 students were selected as the case study from 4 schools in the teacher professional development network. The results indicated that (1) the guidelines on teacher professional experience training by utilizing the PLC consisted of 2 phases—phase 1 was the problem identification, and phase 2 was the cycle of problem solving; (2) the development of the PLC consisted of 5 components; and (3) the satisfaction assessment of the users of the PLC showed that the overall satisfaction was at the highest level.
