Opinions of Service Users towards the Quality of Hospital Services Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel

The objectives of this research were: (1) to study the opinions of service users towards the quality of Hospital Service Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Educational Personnel, and (2) to compare their opinions in aspects of personal factors, factors relating to the service, information acquisition, and problems of the service users about service quality of the Office. The samples consisted of 399 service users of Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Education.The questionnaire was used for data collection. Statistical methods used included the descriptive statistics, the t-test and the analysis of variance. Paired differences were tested with the Scheffe method and the Least Significance Difference method. The level of statistical significance was set at 0.05. The results showed that the opinions towards service quality of the Office were at high levels. Hypothesis testing revealed the significant differences among users with different ages, marital status, affiliated agencies, monthly income, and specific personal ailments. Finally, the problems of the service users related to places and facilities, personnel, working process, and reliability.
