An Enhancement of Family Roles of Educational Students,
Dhonburi Rajabhat University
The objectives of this research were to: 1) study elements of family roles of Educational students, Dhonburi Rajabhat University, 2) construct a family roles test of Educational students, Dhonburi Rajabhat University, and (3) strengthen the family roles of Educational students, Dhonburi Rajabhat University. The sample consisted of 49 students. The instruments used in this study were group activities and a family roles test. The collected data were analyzed statistically for requency, percentage, average, the standard deviation and t-test. The research results revealed: 1) the family roles comprised of 5 elements; rules, ommunication, developmental enhancement, love and bonding, and stability. 2) Thefamily roles test comprised of 2 sets; knowledge and understanding test, and attitude test. The content of the constructed test was appropriate, comprehensive, and accurate that could be used in the group activities. (3) A significant difference between the students’ knowledge and understanding in family roles before and after articipating group activities was found at 0.01 level, and students’ attitudes toward their family roles in overall, in each aspect and item were significantly higher than the criteria at the level of 0.05. A set of questionnaire was distributed to students’ parents a month after the group activities to monitor the students’ behavior. The results showed that students behaved differently in overall and individual aspect at the high level.
