Abstract
The purposes of this research were (1) to study the factor of educational institution administrators and the quality of distance teaching and learning via satellite in schools under the Ofice of Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area 1, (2) to study the factor of educational institution administrators and their effects on the quality of distance teaching and learning via satellite in schools, and (3) to construct a predicting equation of the quality of distance teaching and learning via satellite in schools. The sample consisted of 226 primary school teachers under the Ofice of Suphanburi Primary Educational Service Area 1. The employed research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire developed by the researcher, with reliability coeficient of 0.98. The statistics used in data analysis were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Person correlation coeficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The .05 signiicance level was predetermined for hypothesis testing.
The research indings were as follows: (1) the overall performances of the administrators were at high level, (2) the overall quality of the distance teaching and learning via satellite in schools were at high level, (3) the two factors in the electronic leadership dimension of the administrators that signiicantly affected the quality of distance teaching and learning via satellite were formulating a school vision (X1) and using technology for learning (X2), which together could explain the variance of quality of the distance teachingand learning via satellite by 44 percent, and (4) the predicting equation of the quality of distance teaching and learning via satellite in schools derived from standardized scores could be shown as follow: Z = .427(X1) + .263(X2)
Keywords : educational institution administrator factor, electronic leadership, distance teaching and learning via satellite.
